Zsolt Berszán – Genesis Project

Berszán Zsolt – Genezis-projekt

at MODEM Center for Modern and Contemporary Art, Debrecen, Hungary | 2010
Curator: Gerda Széplaky

Zsolt Berszán's works deal with issues of birth and death, eternal transformation and the biological cycle. A striking feature of the works is the unconventional use of materials: black silicone layered on concrete and metal surfaces, thus characteristically drawing out the surface pattern. A silicon-based, industrial material that is a standard feature of construction projects. The Transylvanian artist made his debut in Hungary with the exhibition Genesis Project.
